These Kurds, from Syria but stateless, sought asylum in Cyprus seven years ago, and their application has not been examined. They camp for a month outside the Ministry of Interior, and four of them are on hunger strike for 14 days. A meeting was held today between KISA (Action for Equality, Support and Antiracism) association and Ministry officials, who have committed to a quick and sympathetic consideration of their asylum applications.
